Excellent open pollination variety, with big heart shaped, medium green fruits. - Staple food in SE & NE Asia. This variety is widely grown in Canton area. - Approximately 5-7 inches long and 4-5 inches in diameter, weight between 6 to 12 oz in average. - Do best in warm to hot areas. Do not transplant too early, wait at least 2-3 weeks after last frost. - Trellis support is a must, or use chain-link fence, meshed wire, nylon bean nets. - Leaves are also harvested for Southeast Asian delicacy. - Mature in about 70 days after transplant. Harvest fruits within three weeks of flowering, before fruit color changing to orange. - Germination Rate 64%; tested 06/2021
