The Ashley Cucumber is a high yielding, refreshingly delicious cucumber that does exceptionally well in humid areas. This cucumber is ready to slice off the vine and is wonderful in salads. They are resistant to downy mildew. This is an open-pollinated, heirloom variety. This annual cucumber should be planted in the warm season. Direct sow in a fully sun exposed area. Plant seed half an inch deep and lightly cover. Space seeds at least a foot apart. The vine will grow up to four feet tall. Consider using a trellis. Sixty five days until mature.
