Cách gieo:
Hạt giống điên điển được ngâm nước khoảng 12 giờ sau đó vớt ráo rồi gieo luôn, gieo hạt với khối lượng là 30 – 40kg/1 hecta đất, gieo với mật độ thưa để hạt mọc mầm to đanh cây hơn.

Nếu gieo trên ruộng nước nên tháo nước ngay sau khi gieo tránh ngâm lâu quá làm thối hạt giống.

2. Cách chăm sóc cây

Khi mầm cao khoảng 20cm thì tỉa bỏ những cây yếu, cây mọc với mật độ dày và nhổ cỏ tránh tránh cạnh tranh dinh dưỡng với cây gieo sạ.

Khi cây cao khoảng 50cm thì bón đạm urê với tỷ lệ 100kg/1 hecta, rắc ít một để tránh thừa đạm, khoảng 2 tháng sau nếu thiếu lại bón thêm.

Cây điên điển là loài cây mọc hoang nên cây thích nghi rất tốt với khí hậu, thổ nhưỡng, cây có sức đề kháng rất tốt nên ít sâu bệnh hại cây.
